The short version: Treat Yourself doesn't collect, store, or share any of your personal data. Everything stays on your device.
Nothing. Treat Yourself stores all data — your spending entries, daily goal, savings total, and purchase history — locally on your device using your phone's built-in storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server.
We have no user accounts, no login, no cloud sync, and no analytics. We genuinely do not know who you are or how you use the app.
The optional Pro upgrade ($1.99) is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not handle, store, or have access to any payment information. Please refer to Apple's or Google's privacy policies for information about how they handle purchase data.
Treat Yourself does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no SDKs running in the background collecting data about your device or behavior.
Treat Yourself does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no data at all, this is straightforwardly satisfied.
If we ever change how the app handles data in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and the date above. We don't anticipate this happening — the app is intentionally simple.
